Almost done with the calibrations. All is going very well. I'll take them to USPS as soon as they open in the morning. I am finally able to replicate one bug that
@freqseeker found in his testing, but I wasn't able to reproduce. Sometimes changing the DEMOD mode locks up the device. It appears to only happen right after adding a new site. After a power cycle changing demod works fine It appears to only happen the first time the mode is changed. Something that isn't in the user manual yet (was added in the most recent release) is the RF AGC gain. There will be new options added very soon. In the current release, the RF AGC is automatic when roaming is set to off. When any roaming/scanning mode is selected, the gain is set to fixed (disable AGC) and is set to the highest gain. Note that this is not the front-end gain, but the final amp before the ADC. In most cases this will work fine. If you are receiving very strong signals (> -60s), the fixed gain may push the ADC into saturation. If you suspect this, then switch the roaming mode off to enable AGC for now. I will add more options shortly. Another thing that needs more options is encryption. In the current firmware, the receiver may output a short period of encrypted audio before returning to the control channel. There are no options related to encryption. Currently, is doesn't show ENC on the display.
