I did my best to get the rest of the orders ready to ship before last pickup at USPS this afternoon. I'm not going to make it. They are all assembled. They still need to be calibrated before I can box them up and ship them. They will ship tomorrow first thing.

For the shipment that went out yesterday, I may have accidentally left SD cards in two of them. One of the SD card is good, the other seems to have gone "read-only". If you received an SD card with your receiver, it may not be a good card.

Almost done with the calibrations. All is going very well. I'll take them to USPS as soon as they open in the morning. I am finally able to replicate one bug that @freqseeker found in his testing, but I wasn't able to reproduce. Sometimes changing the DEMOD mode locks up the device. It appears to only happen right after adding a new site. After a power cycle changing demod works fine It appears to only happen the first time the mode is changed. Something that isn't in the user manual yet (was added in the most recent release) is the RF AGC gain. There will be new options added very soon. In the current release, the RF AGC is automatic when roaming is set to off. When any roaming/scanning mode is selected, the gain is set to fixed (disable AGC) and is set to the highest gain. Note that this is not the front-end gain, but the final amp before the ADC. In most cases this will work fine. If you are receiving very strong signals (> -60s), the fixed gain may push the ADC into saturation. If you suspect this, then switch the roaming mode off to enable AGC for now. I will add more options shortly. Another thing that needs more options is encryption. In the current firmware, the receiver may output a short period of encrypted audio before returning to the control channel. There are no options related to encryption. Currently, is doesn't show ENC on the display.

Speaking of encryption, any thought of supporting it for users that have a legitimate use and know the key variable? No biggie, just curious.

Done with the calibrations! I have a pretty good process for assembly now and much better idea for the time it takes. More work than I expected, but everything went very smooth. I'm very happy with that. Thank you all for the support! I'm looking forward to hearing how it does for everyone. The new batch of enclosures including a small number of high-temp/black material should be here early-mid next week.

This project started in August. It has been non-stop development since then. Three months is not too bad considering it is a different processor. It feels great to be shipping some units. @goldmyne99 put in a lot of hours with testing, advice, and the enclosure. He pointed me to the Wio terminal and the fact that it was available from distributors and encourage me to add the display. I want to say thank you again for all of his time and effort. Hopefully the parts for this design will remain available for some time. The manufacturer of the digital board appears to have close contacts at NXP and has been able to maintain a supply of MCU parts with only short outages so far. Hopefully this will continue through the tough times for semiconductor availability.

Thank you!

One request for a future firmware update. Let the frequency change buttons work even when listening to a current voice transmission. I have a couple sites that are basically constantly transmitting voice and changing off of them to the next one is difficult/next to impossible.

(Or have a way to directly select site to monitor.)

Good feedback. I will work on making this change soon.
