Can't bankrupt myself but I can see about being an intermediary source as well.If you wanted to email me those parts I'd be happy to buy my limited quantity worth and send them your way at cost. I'm certain others feel the same way.

The MicroP25RX Wio 3d model looks good. It is a nice adapter. Here is a short video showing a model rotation to give you an idea of how the MicroP25RX rev2 (analog + digital boards) and Wio Terminal adapter stack up.
As far as I know right now, everything is on the way. I hope it works.Looks good. I really like the header mount, very clean. I look forward to the finished product.
Did you have any luck with your parts order?
That is correct. I'm not going to be including the WIo Terminal display or the USB cable. It will include the receiver (analog + digital), the Wio Adapter, and the Base stand pieces. Assembled and tested. While supplies last, it will include a 700/800 MHz antenna and ear buds-with-volume-control. It isn't obvious from the visual, but there will be header / wire between the adapter and the analog board that will form an RF shield around the analog section. If I didn't screw anything up with the changes, then it should be a nice little receiver. For audio, I hooked up an Anker speaker with the line-out option and it sounds really good.@btt love it!
To the casual reader of the forum, the Wio Terminal device itself would not sold as part of the MicroP25RX radio you are creating, correct?
It is just the adapter board you are making that users can then attach their own Wio Terminal to be used with the MicroP25RX.
Glad to hear it. I was hoping it would be more what you were looking for based on your description. This is exactly what I was hoping for form factor-wise when I posted earlier in this thread. This will make it easier to find a way to enclose this and be aesthetically pleasing. I can't wait to get my hands on one and try it out!
Not yet, but I will once the design is verified. It will be the same thing I was doing with the P25RX-II for the last several months. After you order, I will assemble, test, and ship within a few days (usually 3-4). At least, that is the plan for now.Taking pre-orders????
I definitely will. I have the firmware for the new processor working very well. The main thing I need to finish before it could be sold is to finish the configuration part. There is going to be lots of flash memory and an SD card, so there are options. I don't really trust SD cards as "reliable" media in embedded applications, but it could be a great solution for cross-platform compatibility. What I'm thinking is mapping the SD card in as a USB mass-storage device, then writing configuration to the card with Java application. After that, the firmware will transfer the configuration information to the reliable on-board flash memory. I'll update later on progress for this. I was really hoping to get USB Ethernet emulation working on Windows and Mac, but I have not been able to get that to work. The CDC-EEM class works excellent on Linux and does open up some applications on that platform. I haven't checked to see if Android devices have the CDC-EEM driver compiled into the Linux kernel by default. For cross-platform compatibility, It will probably end up being USB serial like the other products, but it will be 40x the data rate with 512 byte FIFOs vs the 64 bytes. This will open up some possibilities for displaying a lot more real-time information. I saw another thread here on RR regarding visualization of activity using bitmap raster/images. It gave me a good idea for something similar. I'm looking forward to trying that out.Give us a heads up when you have them for sale... I definitely want one !!
