Microsoft Outlook sign problem

Microsoft outlook email did an update and now I cannot sign in. It asks for a PIN. I have never had a PIN. I use a password. No luck changing to a PIN.
Sign in is just a blank white box. Help!

Microsoft is getting stupid with the sign-in options.
There should be a hyper-link for Other Sign-in Options. Click that, then the option for password sign-in.
