A friend of mine sent me a picture that I want to use as my background. Unfortunately, it is on WORD and not a JPEG. He has it as a word doc as well. It is not a copyrighted picture or anything. How do I or can I even convert it to a JPEG?

The image is embeded in the doc, can you right click on the image itself and select "save as"?

I ran into this problem before. What I did was to save the Word document as a webpage (.html I think) using the File - Save As function. Then I looked in the directory where I saved the html file and found that Word saved the image as it's own jpg file.
