Like Darryl says...better too much info than not enough!Sorry to alert you guys up to the north and east but I thought they might have been heading your direction. You can get back to work now.lol
Look forward to that!Should be a couple of B-2s heading for AR20, before going across the pond. Call signs FOWL 11/12. Next AR will be with QUID 90/91 out of Mildenhall.
You made us all proud today, Darryl.B-2s!!! HOLY CRAP!
They were south of the track, juuuust slightly inland of the coast. They went right over the MacDonald bridge, if I had to eyeball their rough track.
That would have been the ultimate pic for me if the sky hadn't closed up just before. (Those darn weather pods!)Heheheh thanks! My friend got a cell phone pic. Easy ID even in the so so quality.
That is awesome! Wish I had seen that.
Thanks again for the info Mark. I wasn't able to listen to the A-10s (although I haven't reviewed my recordings).Correct callsign this morning was TABOR 61 and TABOR 71 A-10 flights enroute Lajes.
Supposedly off to Spangdahlem after Lajes.
They almost always use TABOR with CLEAN Coronet tanker callsign.
Been a couple years since logging CLEANS here..
Noticed the B-2's tanked at FL300,a little higher than most mil A/R's.
Missed them as was at work but
guess the good news is they will rtb later tonight back at Whiteman
Sorry to doubt you Metal...I had three people message me with three IDs (B-1, B-2 and B-52...all plausible).I did say they were B-2s earlier lol. I take it you will be waiting for the return leg on AR20[SW]
