Heard another aircraft the other day inbound McGuire saying he dropped off the
personnel in Ottawa.
Is there a base nearby Ottawa? Assume a joint exercise going on there.

I listened to Ottawa ATC on Liveatc for a while. No mention of the CAP but they were telling someone to stay out of one area because the Snowbird were coming in for a show.

which crashed on landing last week.
