I've heard the banner planes while in AC on vacation using130.3 for advisories flying up the coast.
260.6 is 2nd harmonic of 130.300.
I haven't looked at them for awhile, but to my eyes it seems like a strange track for banner airplanes, just not that many beach-goers there, is this normal ?

I always thought they liked the east coast where more people go to beaches, and I seem to remember a banner pick up airport on the east part of the state also.

Thanks
Joel

Some civilian air show teams have used 130.3 in the past also.

The banner planes for the beaches in Cape May County depart from Woodbine Airport - KOBI and head down the coast along the bay side of the county then go around Cape May Point and up the ocean side of the county then back to Woodbine. Here is the track of the lead aircraft
Except for Wildwood - most of the ocean side beaches require beach tags (aka money to get on the beach). The bay side while not as groomed or with other amenities is popular since it it more natural and quieter....usually less kids so more favored by the older crowd and those not wanting to have to pay for a beach tag to stick your feet in the water. Most people on the bay side can walk to the beach while on the ocean side you have to drive to get there - pay to park the car .... so on and so forth.

Now that the CAPs are not active for POTUS at Rehoboth Beach Delaware - they can use 1200 code and just fly as they please - No F15s or F16s chasing them.

What is this big ball of ADSB high altitude mess round Pittsburgh tonight?
Somebody jamming the system? Maybe server Software error?

A couple minutes later it all went away..That was bizarre 😜

Several KC-46's out of Travis headed NE over Minnesota into Canada tonight assume semi Polar route.
RCH-699 #18-46044
RCH-230 #17-46025
RCH-115 #17-46033 headed more Easterly.
USAF clearing out the tanker barns lately.

Fox News reports "mysterious" Chinese transport ac in/out of Iran. Saying they usually bring in military equipment; but maybe hauling equipment out.
Maybe China just got a good deal on some moderatly used centrifuges... and maybe some borrowed (to be returned later ) "fuel".

I was wondering if there are any good radiation detecting airplanes that could sniff out materials on other aircraft. My guess is no, a fighter with a geiger counter would have to do a close pass.

Anyone with ideas on capabilities.

Good morning to all!!

The following tankers have arrived at Lajes Field (LPLA).

ae050661-0293K35RPAEDLPLA
ae048963-8007K35RPAEDLPLA

I can't confirm if KC-46A 21-46092 as RCH239 went there early this morning or not. It is possible that they did or they could have gone to Ramstein to replace one of the aircraft/crews from the 305th there.

Okay I did find them on 130.300 for the banner plane air/air comms. I also found my log of the freq - at least my memory is still good (NOT) !

Additionally, in actively monitoring them they are mentioning the TFR in the Wildwood area for mostly for UAS type aircraft but they are trying to avoid the area anyway. The Barefoot Country Music Festival is in progress on the beach at Wildwood so TFR for that....

For those at the Delaware beaches - they mentioned the air/air freq being used is 123.450 for banner planes.

VP TFR issued as mentioned in this Los Angeles area thread, adding link to avoid double posting which isn't allowed.
