1415- Looks like some MD ANG A-10s on 266.6 heading to DOV (257.875) for some patterns. Maybe going on to Warren Grove?

1420- Looks like 121.275 is now in full use as Wash Helo freq. All helo traffic heard in last two days is on this freq. The old freq of 134.35 is now quiet.

SAM-518 #98-0002 did Halifax stop and a few laps at Syracuse airport now on way back.
Guess ready for prime time at Andrews.
2225z Acars message:

KADW IS NOW RPTNG 08004KT 10SM FEW110 BKN150 25/19 A3025..CW

Last logged #99-0003 back in May.. Assume getting upgrade treatment as well?

Didn't know about a VMGR-153 based in Hawaii till seeing KC-130J #170273 departing Alaska with KB tail flash.
This unit only reactivated in 2023.
VMGR-153 was reactivated on January 13, 2023 at Marine Corp Kaneohe Bay Hawaii.
Over the course of the next two years the squadron is planned to receive its full complement of 17 aircraft.

Mystery PC-12? N517KM... The FAA just says deregistered aircraft.
Seems to shuttle between Oceana and Florida etc now inbound Martin State.
Interesting aircraft.

The original user of the tail number agreed to release it to Pilatus USA for use on this aircraft as a Special Registration.
Gogo Business Aviation Dual Direction Antennas were installed forward and aft on the lower fuselage (as can be seen in some pictures online)
Has a KTU-709 TACAN System and Sandel SN3500 EHSI TACAN Display installed separate from the aircraft's auto pilot / navigation system
Sky Connect Transceiver System (Sky Connect Tracker III
KTR-909 UHF Transceiver

Skytech Inc in Maryland assisted Pilatus in getting a new airworthiness certificate for the aircraft when it was changed to N517KM

Pilatus advised in a letter to the FAA regarding its registration that they cannot provide detailed flight report of flights operated by the aircraft (as of July 2024) but estimated that 60 percent of the flight hours were within the USA for 2023. Apparently the FAA was complaining they were operating an un-registered aircraft in the USA.

The aircraft is leased to the Special Operations of the US Navy

No mention of the microwave oven or refrigerator installation......maybe they forgot.

Thanks Terry. yeah couldn't find much info on this tail..
I like those Swiss built PC-12's but remember some years ago the USAF
bought a whole mess of them and ended up selling off most of them off due to expensive parts and lousy fuel mileage.
Had a PC-12 come over my house landing at local airport one day and sounded like a P-51 on steroids.. That turbo prop engine
reeks of high horespower. :)
Those French TBM_700/800/900's pax planes are also the same deal with high power single engine turbos but total
costs are getting close to a Citation X jet or Honda jet that goes much faster.. USAF says will they stick with BE-20's/C-12's etc.

2120 local KC-135 FLAM-21 coming Northeast from Tenn #58-0119.

Banboo Eagle 25-3 going off SW Coast US and Baja areas the last few days.

1420- Scan 06 w/Echo Control (320.45) advising he will descend & RTB in 10 mins.

1422- Rcane 27 (Cessna 182 N304CA) landing at PAX (120.05). N304CA listed owner is Civil Air Patrol, Maxwell AFB AL
RCANE seems to have replaced the old PARD callsign for Civil Air Patrol. Have not heard the latter in months.

That's one I've had in my LN bank for a long time. I don't think I've logged it before today. Just goes to show, don't delete old freqs!! It also shows that people should think twice if their serious about listening to Milair to double check if their scanner will receive this freq. Many of the new scanners don't cover 380-400 MHz in the AM mode anymore. My Son has a Uniden 125AT and he cannot receive anything over 380 on it.
It was a final pair of transiting MO F-15Es using 492 FS/48FW <> for their onward journey home.
