Has anyone heard the Wisconsin State Fair system this year (2025)?

I live very close to the fairgrounds and for years, it was a solid signal of their LTR system. Today is the first day of the 2025 Fair and I hear nothing. Did they move? I'm using the latest info in the RadioReference database..

Search up their call sign on the FCC and check for changes. License Search
I never thought of that. Thanks. Still, if anyone else has details, please post them here. If I learn anything, I'll share it here, too. The morse code ID flew by quickly in the conventional mode. It was W something..... 5 5 (but maybe it's something else)

They have switched to NXDN digital system
I just realized something. It used to be LTR for many years and maybe that's why I said 'LTR' in my question. I thought I heard it in 2024 and I *thought* they had already made the switch to NXDN. I have the NXDN option for my radio. I'll have to listen for the morse code ID and look that up at the FCC site. Thanks for reminding me of the NXDN switch.

I'm not going to pretend I know what this means, but since there's no such patch listed in the RR database for WSP, my guess is that State Fair has moved. Whereto? I'd love to figure that out. Thanks for responding.
WSP has a patch into the state fair PD using 8TAC 94.

Since state fair is using a trunk radio system that differs from the trunk radio system that the state patrol uses, there is a patch onto a interop frequency using a repeater so that both agencies can communicate with one another. This patch has been used for state fair week ever sice they went to NXDN.

OK. I assume 8TAC94 is a designator for this patch to go only to State Fair PD. I'm hoping someone has actually heard the State Fair NXDN recently because I haven't.

We also have to remember that this system is a lower power so the closer you are to it the better it comes in obviously. I live about 4 miles away and it can be temperamental but generally fine to receive.

It won't be listed in the DB. WSFP has installed an 8TAC94 interop repeater so they can patch to their NXDN system when they have outside agencies that don't use WiPSN (which they also have patched). It's ad hoc only and not permanent.

The RR database for the Wisconsin State Fair presently has two patches listed for outside Law Enforcement. One is for WAPD and the other is for 'OASIS Law Call Patch'. I know 'OASIS' is an old name, but where did you get this info that the NXDN system at the Wisconsin State Fair has a patch to 8TAC94?
I believe the present listing in the RR database for the Wisconsin State Fair is no longer valid. Do you agree?

Have you tried to hear it this year using the published info in the RR database? I'm not hearing a thing this year and I'm much closer than you are.

Well I notice that the youth center site is almost completely silent while the grand stand is jumping today. I have each site programmed separately with the info on here. I have both sites set to ID search too. I see the NX4 tag coming up but it just nothing in the youth center. I don’t think it would work at all if you programmed all of the frequencies together but I may try that later perhaps.

Hmmm.... Well, that's not at all what I see/hear. I'm about a 5-minute walk from the site and nothing but crickets compared to full quieting last year. I'll have to study this a bit more later. Thanks for the feedback. I took the download as is from RadioReference and they had both sites in the same profile. I know for years, the Youth Center seemed to be completely silent. I thought that maybe they did some major work to increase capacity/reliability there by maybe enabling two sites instead of just the Grandstand.

Yesterday, I deleted both sites and just started a new list of all of the frequencies programmed as conventional. Now it's coming thru perfectly. Since there are no other users besides the fair, I figured why not.
