Only one A-10 took off from MTN. Tail 702. Not exactly sure who he’s chatting with on A/A.

1231L - Just heard MTN tower mention that there were 2 A-10s holding at SWANN. Not a clue in the world where the other one came from or when he took off, I’ve been at the airport since 1130.

Thats a shame.. Andrews in past was model for airshows as had lots of National Guard screening stations
and lots of big charter busses then seems cost cutting started in 20 teens with Harford County school busses etc and less
busses but still was pretty good...

At 12:25pm I received another media advisory that all Northwest Stadium lots were full, but you could ride share to the stadium or walk there and still get on a bus to the base if you were in line by 12:45.

They took off right after the C-17 demonstration was neat!

Security and bussing wasn’t a problem today (left before Thunderbirds, that’s the real test for the bussing) but doubt there were as many people as yesterday

Looks like it will retire there.. Heard pilot mention factory where A-10 was built and you said Hagerstown so 2+2 on that

Better video of F-35B's landing Ceibo PR. They sure have different landing gear than F-35A's.
Seems taller and spindly but guess it works. Local PR comments mostly wish US would reopen that base.
I remember the hoo ha back in Clinton days as separatists and environmentalists wanted that local practice bombing of that island stopped
so US Navy shut it down.. Maybe having second thoughts.
