turning to the north - maybe entering an orbit

or maybe refueling.....from the two KC46s...noticed the E3 did descend in altitude to where the KC46s are level in their block
Dropped off here but you are right it seemed to be getting in behind KC-46's on AR-455 route.
Something a little different for McGuire KC-46's :)

AF-2 looks inbound KVJI airport down that way.. Has a 5,500 foot runway and elevation of 2k feet.. In the Hill country.
BBQ-608 N149XA B-734 coming North from Haiti.

MAINE-85 #59-1498 setting up IP point with unheard aircraft on 274.550 AR-220

Expect a vehicle traffic jam on I-81. KVJI is a neat field adjacent to and parallel to the Interstate. A C-32 in United States of America livery will stand out there like a whale in a fishbowl.

Who is using that? AF2 is at TRI, is there another C32 there?

09-0017 just departed ADW headed to KCOF for SAM47 duty this evening

Listener in FL says CAP over Doral this past weekend was by OH ANG (112th FS). Used 284.65 & 312.175. On way down & back up they used callsign Loma.
I’m really upset that we don’t have much insight into what goes on in South Florida. We were really privileged to get insights from CAP etc in this Forum the past four years. Is there any chance we could invite those who have access in FL into this group?

A Drago-51 coming eastbound from Offutt assume for Arlington flyover.
WC-135R #64-14831.
Maybe for this USAF Lt Colonel Michael Edmondson scheduled for 3pm at Arlington.

Hearing some short xmissions on 279.575 as the WC-135 orbits in the DC area. Also hearing a Blackjack 68 working Potomac (125.65). No CG helo showing, so might be the WC-135. Using call Drago 51 on 279.575 but too low to hear clearly.

yeah not the strongest signal - can hear the calling someone "DRAGO 51 calling xxx on 279.57"

DRAGO 51 is calling DRAGO 2...at 14:57 gave them a 15:xx time that I missed due to another radio

While this is a Mid-Atlantic group, not east coast group, they are free to join here or create/contribute to their own thread in the Florida threads. It is not about inviting them.

That said, with the exception of a very active Michigan Mil-Air thread, there are few others across the country that are active day by day in the forums.

That was my bad.. I was tracking it on ADSB and seemed really dropping near KVJI but seems
it pressed onto KTRI. ADSB coverage spotty down that way at low altitudes.
Seemed like AF-2 was following I-81 Interstate aka Cumberland Valley down that way :)

Obit was sad story as USAF Lt Colonel Michael Edmondson was 23 years in USAF and just retired a couple years ago
and passed away due to blood clot at age 47. Couldn't find much details where or who he flew with.
