From another list

0026z 04 Feb 25

11175.0 was active at 0019z with SPELMAN conducting their post-0000z new UTC day system wide communications test count.

For possible context the following can be followed on ADSBExchange's playback function.

1402z TOM THUMB (E6B; BESET 11 ex TINKER 1357z+/-) called ACCUSTOM (NCS HFGCS) multiple times, eventually raising them at 1411z, and entering the net at 1413z.

1427z TOM THUMB called SPELMAN multiple times with no known response. During these calls TOM THUMB was entering his first racetrack orbit of the day over Wichita, KS extending to the south.

1627z: ACCUSTOM began a 30 minute window of multiple 5Q EAM strings. 1627z 40 characters; 1642z; 1645z; 1648,z; 1652z; 1655z - all 30 character strings. During this time TOM THUMB was in his second racetrack orbit of the day directly to the east of Fort Riley.

TOM THUMB eventually transitioned south back to WICHITA, entering another racetrack orbit (extending to the north); and, eventually transitioning to the east and into a racetrack orbit south-southeast of KANSAS CITY, MO.

2046z TOM THUMB (after leaving the KANSAS CITY orbit, and heading toward TINKER) called SPELMAN.

2046z SPELMAN (weak on the SDR) called and raised TOM THUMB. TOM THUMB requested that SPELMAN "standby for traffic." A moment later:

"Break; NIF KOP ABK; time 48; I authenticate CG; I say again; NIF KOP ABK; this is TOM THUMB out." (ABK was the final group in yesterday's message traffic as well.)

2050z TOM THUMB called STANDOFF with no known response.

2054z TOM THUMB called ACCUSTOM multiple times, finally raising ACCUSTOM and exits the net at 2114z.

The above procedure is exactly like yesterday's activity. After net entry the initial calls to the daily comm test count callword at the beginning of their mission; the calls to the callword after the final orbit of the day enroute to TINKER to pass authenticated 3-element, 3 groups to the command post; and, a call to an unknown player (SPACE GUN yesterday; STANDOFF today) before exiting the net through the NCS.

The 04 Feb 25 new UTC day comm test callword is QUIETMAN.

HOBEY-44,45 KC-46 McGuire tankers headed down coastal South at FL-200.
A/A 378.850 says we will hang at FL-200 all day and not sure if we will have any receivers.

I think Ron VOLVO-27 means it is going on a flight mission as TERRA mainly used for practice flights.

I’m not too tuned in with the McGuire C-32s, but last night VOLVO27 met up with a Maine KC-135 for AR training over New England, so maybe just mixing callsigns? It’s pretty rare for them to broadcast the callsign on ADSBxchange.

I haven't heard "Terra" months!
Heard Terra-57 two weeks ago but not often lately.

Looks like OTIS-81 KC-130J #170271 going from Cherry Point to Gitmo.
Read somewhere Marines piling into there to get fixed up for some company.
RCH-717 departed KBIF Texas for MUGM Gitmo.. Prob bringing in some rolling stock I assume
or some new pax customers.Biggs AAF in El Paso has been busy lately with C-17's.

Clear blue skies here and a Space X launch at Cape Canaveral for 6:13 PM local.

Watch live coverage as SpaceX launches a Falcon 9 rocket with the latest pair of Maxar Space Systems' WorldView Legion satellites. The Earth observing satellites will launch into a mid-inclination Earth orbit. Liftoff from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA's Kennedy Space Center is scheduled for 6:13 p.m. EST (2313 UTC) on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
The Falcon 9 will head away from Cape Canaveral on a north-easterly trajectory'

We may be able to eyeball this one with Sunset scheduled for just after 5:30 PM local. :)
Also tune into local air bands as they surely will spot it.

Might give the roof camera a shot since the new one has recording capabilities. Based on 45 degree inclination it should pass a bit lower to the horizon than a ISS mission inclination of 51.6 degrees.

COLT-01.02 A-10's headed up to Harrisburg range dropping down with Harrisburg appch 281.525.

Odd thick fog down at Cape Canaveral but 45th Wx squadron says 95% favorable launch conditions.
The trajectory shows good up thru the offshore Carolinas but turns a bit East farther up the coast.
yeah those 6.6 degrees makes a big difference trajectory wise
