E-6 RIMA85, felt like I was looking for a needle in a haystack on what is basically a perfectly clear day. Wasn’t making any contrails at about 30,000 feet

Amazing how you can think you have absolutely perfect conditions and your quarry passes on by like it has a cloaking device :) Seen it happen too many times!

Today I missed out on a C-17 and a KC-135 because they were literally invisible (mind you I purposely put on my sunglasses). After taking the pictures of this E-6 I lost track of it too, pretty nuts lol

VINYL 69 (KC-10 86-0028)
341.750 AR- 03:33pm. I can't hear who he's talking to. Gave time to the I.P. ?? @ 03:39pm. East bound.
Chuck in Detroit / NODAK 1

That is odd topoff as KC-10 #86-0028 VINYL from Travis at altitude all the way across the Country finally drops
down in AR-20 Northeast to FL27k.Has to be a record for long distance AR-20 topoff :)
That tail used to be McGuire tail but runs out of Travis lately.
Euro post says was tanking NOVA-24 E-3G #76-1607 on deployment.

I'm looking around like a chicken without a head trying to see them (but how can the chicken without a head see you ask, don't think too much into it :ROFLMAO:).

Could this be them? Looks like this track coming from Harrisburg, PA View attachment 136458

Sorry for not posting this sooner but was doing work up in attic.

The flight depicted here is BATTON 55 from KMDT (Harrisburg) to KFOK (Francis S Gabreski Airport) on Long Island. The return trip back to KMDT with some touch and go's at Allentown KABE is here

So definitely not the HAWKS they snuck out and then operated normal on the return.
