Bravo! I saw it looked like they were tracking your way - glad the skies were cooperative. Good job, and thanks for sharing them!
Yeah was worried about the cloud deck but it held UP till I lost sight of them over the ocean beyond SIE VORTAC (Sea Isle)

The south departure helped by making them pass closer to the house (the black dot is not even close) versus a northerly departure

Fyi --

yup... refer to post 2108, the links, especially the second one, show how balloons are used and apparently pretty popular for STEM groups.

Thanks

0328 local just missed this morning but tape had ROMA-91 tanker from Pittsburgh 58-0072.
"We are gonna join on them block 240-260" Tanker circled Del Bay waiting.
Boom freq fading here 373.550.
0345 ROMA-93 #18-46054 off Pease meeting whoever up North filed to EGUN.
0400 local ROMA-92 #63-8872 off Bangor.
Report says was TREND-41 flight of F-35's but no confirmation on that..
Sure seemed to be secretive this morning with that early departure time and Coms.
I finally caught ROMA-92 on Moncton Ctr but all he says was "ROMA-92 continuing Altrav block 240-270".
Not even an aircraft count :(.

Looks like first wave of Typhoons just into Lajes..

292.450 10am EST today had French speaking pilots doing some AR. Not sure of the exact location but they were strong here in Western NY.

Edit: After listening more I am thinking this is the RAF Typhoon flight with Portuguese speaking pilots.

Anyone care to do some digging and to see if the helicopter on showed up on adsb? And maybe identify it?
I looked and only saw 1 helicopter anywhere close to that are and it wasn't military. Here's the link for the search.

This was probably IAM1431 - Italian AF KC-767 with 2 x Italian AF F-35's in tow. Departed Pease at 0923 today for Luke AFB. They arrived at Pease on Tuesday.

Around this time was a Italian B767T Tanker IAM1431 (33FE7D) that departed Pease and went all the way to Arizona.
at FL270. I figured was taking some F-35's to train out there..

You beat me Yow! Yeah saw that earlier today and took me a while to track down flight number.
Nice catch NYAirOne on that F-35 A/A 232.975 too :)
