Based on comms between tanker and TREND41 flight one of the tankers is not going to make it, so all six will continue northeast bound and they will determine who will continue and who will head back to Langley

07:40 EDT TREND 37 on with Washington Center 293.225 AM (at flight level 37K) - heading back to Langley

1157z 128.750 ROMA 91 working ZBW, would like to coordinate that TREND 44-46 will be returning to Langley.

Also heard on LiveATC that ROMA 82 (currently with ROMA 93) will meet up and take over ROMA 81 flight. ROMA 93 will pick up ROMA 91 flight. Seems ROMA 92 was stuck on the ground at Bangor.

1207z Update - TREND 44-46 flight now on UHF ZBW heading back to Langley. Last report they were on 296.9 on the outbound. May switch to another A-A on the inbound. I am hearing TREND 41-43 on 296.9 now at 1210z as they transit through with ROMA 91.
I am monitoring a group of Langley F22 air air freqs to see if I can hear them. Although they may just stay on the same as their range will increase from the rest of the group anyway.

Also I notice a 2nd stationary TIS-B target off of the NJ coast

Yes most likely on the TREND returning F22s

0855- Three ftrs (no calls noted) working ZDC Snow Hill (236.825) & check in on 358.85. The Trends???

Yes - correct (was just about to post the air / air myself.

So Tail numbers 09-4185 09-4181 08-4162 have returned to Langley
while 09-4191 05-4099 09-4187 have continued with ROMA across the Atlantic

I missed second wave of Trends as was breakfast time but on tape had RINGO-01 flight 0738 local
going to FL350 Northbound on Sea Isle 281.450 then again on way back 0831 local RINGO-01 at FL260.
The other day airspare returning used T-Bolt callsign..

1000 local overseas KC-135 # 59-1470 100thARW off RAF Mildenhall Westbound already as ROMA-84.
ROMA-94 KC-135 #60-0355 also getting ready to depart..
Guess they are worried about coming up short of fuel or maybe getting them to Poland in one shot.

0900 local NOBLE11 with Potomac tracon on 135.525 requesting a separate clearance for NOBLE 12 to RTB to KMMT (McEntire Joint National Guard Base) as soon as possible, NOBLE 11 maintaining Guard Dog

Sorry for the delayed posting, was outside trying to get a neighbors dog to RTB
Was having breakfast...went back to check the tapes and around 0857 someone (probably NOBLE 12) was on boom primary (231.6250) saying "this thing isn't going to take gas...will descend out of your block and we'll come up with a game plan..."

Just added the boom freqs last night; saw mark's post and realized I didn't have those in my CAP scanning group.

1452z 128.200 TREND 33 check in with ZBW FL340 descending down to FL240.
1523z 269.475 TREND 33 check in with ZBW FL160.
1525z 309.000 TREND 33 calling HAWK OPs at Barnes (KBAF).
1526z 309.000 TREND 33 calling and then working WHIP at Barnes. Self ID as a single F-22 inbound request to park at P03 (?) as he was having a fuel leak out of his left fuel tank. Request if a fire truck could meet him there.


(Just turned the radios back on and heard this. Possibly an air spare returning back to Langley. Sounded like a single)
