I've had my eye on this guy, hoping for an in-person glimpse. Doesn't look like it's going to happen though, as it appears he's tracking more or less back where he came from.
Retracing his exact same flight path back to Texas.Don't see that very often.Testing auto pilot accuracy? Maybe button on dash that says rtb
and it returns home the way it came LOL
This tail was down range last December but rtb Texas this past late February.. Maybe working bugs out of it.

Pelican-35 P-8A (AE684C) up from Jacksonville prob checking for snoopy ships or subs off Norfolk NAS area.
Some other folks like to keep an eye on what the US Navy has coming and going there ;)

I suspect they did some upgrades at 3L and they were testing the new equipment.

I'm also hearing Pack 21 working GK (118.125) as he's departing the area, Looks like may have been working w/Pelican 35.

1605- Score 46 (MQ-4 # 168457) has been working in the local PAX area all afternoon. He's been in the FL100 block all the time---kinda low for a drone.

1615- Narly 63 working ACY pattern. Departed from NAS Chambers VA. ACY id's him as an E-2. He and Narly 62 have been working out of NASA Chambers for the last week or so. New (to me) callsign for Chambers E-2s. (Live ATC)

1620- ACY advises acft that two CG helos are doing intercept training in the 3,000-4,000 block. (Live ATC0

1625- Raven 03 (UH-72 # 72203) working ACY, cleared back to NAS Lakehurst. (Live ATC)

More waste of Dod money.. Why spend all this money to possibly juice up the A-10 when they plan on scrapping them?
The USAF never uses them in combat anymore cause they fly low and are targets. Not sure any pilot would want to fly this configuration
with 16 bombs hanging underneath anyway.. More bombs equal more possible failures...I wonder sometimes about those folks.
Maybe next they will see if the A-10 can become a loaded drone for combat missions :(

It really makes no sense to me, I don't normally make comments like this on this thread, but what a great game winner as it was in the past. It certainly might come into play in combat in the near future, somewhere.

Just keep maintaining them and keep well enough alone.

Off topic here but didn't know US Navy did this but short Friends and Families cruise around the Harbor on the CVN-70 Carl Vinson
in San Diego.. This would be cool.. Never heard Norfolk do this. Big crowd on deck :)

We did a one day thing, for friends, family, and people on delayed entry, from Everett, Washington.

Later on, I read how our wake capsized a rented fishing boat, off of Whidbey Island, in one of the Naval Safety Center publications.
