"They're already in service for some of the presidential missions," said Paul Lemmo, president of Sikorsky, during a Connecticut Business & Industry Association forum late last month. "Right now there's a mix of the new aircraft and the old aircraft, and over the next year or so we expect the VH-92 to take over completely."

BLUE-41 42? Eastbound off Mass. assume F-35 delivery flight as one tanker came from Texas this morning.Blue-41 pressing on while Texas KC-135 59-1476 peeling off.
BLUE-41 looks on course for Lajes.
Rgr Mark, Caught this flight on recordings today.

1305z 289.700 BLUE 41 & 42 A-A discussing timing for rendezvous, etc.
1313z 293.000 BLUE 41 and RETRO flight joining up on boom freq setting speed, coarse, altitudes for the meet up.
1317z 246.800 RETRO flight (??) A-A Cannot confirm it was the RETROs from the recording.
1350z 311.000 BLUE 42 wkg MAINEiac OPs at Bangor, 15 minutes out, request follow me and crew trans for eight. Landing with 44k fuel.
1352z 132.000 BLUE 42 wkg Bangor civil OPs with same inbound message given to MAINEiac OPs.

No confirmation it was F-35s but the pilots sure sounded like F-35 helmet/mask type sound. Very distinctive from others. Most likely a delivery flight since it originated from Fort Worth.

Thanks Ed, yes they were three brand-new Israeli F-35s and one Greek F-16 returning from rework.
That 246.800 was most likely used by the MO F-15s departing from Westover.
