These are carried out weekly. In case anyone is interested here are some freqs that could be active.

118.4 (ADW twr)
139.15 (AM) (DC ANG A2A)
139.45 (AM) ( DC ANG SOF)
139.7 (AM) Huntress
143.6 (AM) (DC ANG A2A)
234.8 (DC ANG SOF)
238.175 (DC ANG A2A)
285.225 (DC ANG A2A)
319.175 (DC ANG A2A)
340.25 (DC ANG A2A)
348.725 (Potomac Tracon)
349.0 (ADW twr)

Exercise usually is 2 DC ANG F-16s (callsign BRAVE) "scramble" off ADW checking in w/Huntress then switch to A2A for practice intercepts on Civil Air Patrol Cessna 172s acting as "Targets". They will also sometimes head out to the PAX areas to work with the "targets". In that scenario freqs to watch for are ZDC Lexington (281.4) & Bay Watch (119.275/305.2). The 119.275 freq is usually used by CAP acft for Bay Watch area coordination.

1245- Couple of HMX-1 acft (no calls noted) working on discrete (273.95). Sound like Ospreys.
Have flight of 3 nighthawk-21 inbound KILG runway 9 also A/A 273.950 showing (27AC2B) inbound at 180 knots
so assume Ospreys again.
Also flight of two on 143.825 A/A talking about aircraft VFR to Summit Airport.
Heard Nighthawk-55 with tower 126.000 landing.. Maybe the above 2.

1457 local VIPER-01 flight with ZDC 281.450 female.. wants 15 degree deviation due to wx
and wants to eventually get to below cloud deck at 5k feet. Assume Viper demo team on way home.
"Viper-01 back on course for the Sea Isle waypoint" wants to decend to 18k push ZDC Casino 285.400
Viper Demo team was just in Nebraska for airshow.
Got them A/A 371.050 pushing 249.800 GK freq.Prob staying offshore for wx and traffic.

Sept 2-4 Viper Demo team will be in Toronto for show.

Notice BOLT-11-14 KC-135's departed MacDill headed West to Southern California.. Little far for a Hurrevac?:)
BOLT-17 coming ashore Westbound New Orleans from MacDill and BOLT-18 trailing same..
I guess they are all headed to SoCal.Longest distance Hurrevac I have ever seen.

Forgot to add the landing officer callsign today was Thumper and after landing NH32 called NH31 and told them to switch to 21 Charlie after discussing whether it was going to be a total shutdown. I’m not sure if 21 Charlie is a preset channel or a checklist if anyone has any info on this.

Lead KC-135 BOLT-11 inbound March ARB. You just never know what the USAF will do on these Evacs.

VIPER-01 flight back up inbound Andrews from the East on Pot/Balt apch 317.425 looking for
runway 19 at Andrews.Maybe not the Demo team and just were working offshore?

Did some testing with my ADSBExchange receiver over the weekend. In case anyone wonders what coverage looks like at 350 ft MSL here you go. High RF environment on the tower with a filter. This was only about 20 seconds worth of testing and will likely become a full time feed with UAT in the very near future.

Still doing some experimenting this week with various filters I have on hand.

they usually take a VC-25 to PHL. And it appears he’s going to Valley Forge.

I hope you're right, but at least two of the most recent ADW-to-PHL ventures have been with the smaller aircraft. I think the VC-25 is a better bet when he's coming from somewhere else into PHL (or DOV) on a longer flight. But we'll see! (y)
