For low-flying targets over water, they may have to evaluate look down, shoot down capabilities after upgrades. Reflections & clutter can be chaos for tracking systems.
I would have thought that Eglin would be perfect for that, over water ranges and the things needed to keep them clear already in place... and it's FOR testing... they even have drone launch things for practicing on Tyndall AFB.

Thanks
Joel

CAFE 61 (63-8044) and CAFE 62 (57-1514) are dragging two F-16s as HURON 11 from Charleroi-Gosselies,
Belgium to Shaw AFB [KSSC] today on Coronet East 026. The F-16s are on aux frequency <252.200>.

CAFE 61 was flightplanned from RAF Mildenhall to Bangor, MA but may now be going straight back to
Niagara Falls IAP [KIAG] instead. CAFE 62 should be going to Milwaukee Mitchell IAP [KMKE].

Quiet here so lets see how things are South of the Border.
Currently ex Mexican milair B-738 #3526 MXA-1200 chugging up the West Coast.
seems inbound Tijuana...

Just saw this article and seems Mexico Air Force has ditched all their large Mil Pax planes
So shows in regular data as mil mode but all will be civvies soon..

Mexico's Boeing 737-800s go civil

I assume TOI stands for Target of Interest? any one got a better one, Track of Interest maybe)?

Was there a time associated when they mentioned the TOI? (Time of Intercept).
Thanks

All comms on 228.900 TOI's (targets of interest) were throughout the night.

00:34 Losing site of TOI 1 & 2 because of clouds.
00:40 King 21 RTB Greensboro may be active tomorrow night.
00:49 N145NG airborne over Virginia Beach. beginning to wonder if this is real-world activity.

01:18 Narly62 (backend callsign Closeout600) landed at Norfolk NAS

N145NG is just a medevac running routine flights to the Sentara hospitals in the region.
