Closest F-35's are in New Hampshire.. Makes sense if CAP is VA ANG..
Thats what the Air National Guard does..
Sorry missed the fun today.. Power was out here til just a few minutes ago..
I did hear a couple of them over cloud deck at work and did sound extra loud.

Maybe SC guys got socked in with all the heavy rain? They were supposed to finish out this year
on CAP duty.

The POTUS cap today by the Nobles were Langley birds. Were they VA ANG? I do not know as they use the same Aux’s as the regular birds. This is from what I’ve gathered so far you can believe it or not lol. 😝

Langley SOF
305.6 (Aux 15)

71st FS (Iron men, training Sq former 43rd FS)
271.8 (Aux 8, Iron Ops)
227.2 (Aux 11)
267.7 (Aux 12)
298.8 (Aux 13)
274.2 (Aux 14)

94th FS (Spads, aka Hat in the Ring)
364.125 (Aux 9, SPAD Ops)
315.85 (Aux 16)
285.15 (Aux 17)
358.85 (Aux 19)
342.625 (Aux 26)
255.65 (Aux 52)

27th FS (Fighting Eagles)
341.8 (Aux 10, Eagle Ops)
233.525 (Aux 11)
262.025 (Aux 12)
228.45 (Aux 13)
257.075 (Aux 14)
227.2 (Aux 21)
238.825 (Aux 53)

Yes some of these are the T-38 aux’s however they’re also programmed into the Raptor radios as mentioned. And yes some freqs are used twice but this is how I’ve heard it and they’ve referred to it as….

This is from 2016, from a F-22 pilot guide(ifg). Meshes pretty much allowing for squadron changes.Screenshot_20231218-182500.png

Sure is a lot of interoperability refueling training these days across the Services.
Now Vermont ground crews can help refuel Maryland A-10s when up that way.. :)

Oh look someone with a bigger fish story. Last I checked it’s 2023 and I call it’s it's said over the air as the rest of you do except I don’t disclose what’s said over the frequencies. Ya’ll are an Opsec nightmare. Adios!

Sorry you feel like that. Actually, in my opinion, we're doing the OPSEC guys a service so they know what freqs are being heard where and with what sort of equipment. Gives a good idea of what they need to do to improve.
