14:25 ACY F16s are on with Phila Radar and also working 298.600 air/air
I was at a christening, but just got back and checked my recordings. Only one quick transmission heard here on 298.6. I usually hear ACY F-16's like they are next door. Elevation makes a huge difference, ie..., when they do flyovers, they are only maybe 1-2k feet up.
Saw it on the DVR though. Impressive flight of 4!

NOTE: for anyone monitoring my feed I have to take it offline for a bit - it will return with the system locked on CAP freqs for tomorrow

Thanks for providing the feed ! I'm wondering if it would work better without the ATC Approach (VHF, and UHF were you can hear the controller) and Center (VHF) frequencies in the scanner ? They can get busy at times and block the CAP and UHF comms. Plus most of the ATC stuff is already covered by LiveATC if someone wanted to monitor them. Just a thought.

Was watching Kansas City pregame National Anthem and thought that since B-2's are grounded their usual flyover favorites
maybe some T-38's for flyby as they have a bunch.. Looked like on TV with bad camera thats who it was.
Later in the Eagles game they showed the 177th FW in cockpit flyover Vid.. Looked pretty cool. Doesn't take long for pilots to
upload those Go-Pro type vids..I think that is great as more folks should see what our National Guard pilots can do :)

Very good points and they were considered as I programmed the radio. Technically the radio is my only link back to PA so I was trying to cover as much aviation end of the CAP process as possible.

Reprogrammed Baofeng Ham radios? I hear they are easy to do..

No out of the box MIdland Radios with test frequencies still installed.

Just realized I answered two questions in one reply.......I need to stop multitasking while typing.

anyway on the feed. If I was still in PA I would have all the radios I needed to monitor stuff and just feed the CAP stuff.

I do not have any issue with reducing the frequency coverage at all. I have all the resources I need here to monitor but was trying to provide a better picture for those not from the area. Sometimes PHL radar will talk to the fighters on their UHF side but unfortunately to hear that you have to hear every aircraft they talk to. I can reprogram the radio with just the important stuff unless someone has an issue.

It does not bother me either way - so let me know.

My thought would be

Huntress 260.900 228.900
Refueling 247.050
Fighter Air/Air applicable frequencies as needed
HMX frequencies 143.825 AM and FM plus their UHF freqs

Will that be enough ??

Saw post that the KC-135's were stopping in Tahiti NTAA airport?
BOLT-01 showing on ACARS from NTAA Tahiti to KMCF MacDill.. Thats is a long haul.
I guess KNIGHT-01 will rtb Wash State.
Guess long Southern Hem trip will be over soon.. Crews probably sick of each other course after Tahiti who knows.
Good way to finish up the trip :)
