Let me know if the coverage on my link is better with the reduced frquencies including removal of ATC I may add the Washington Center frequencies back in since there is only the mil side.

Sounded good to me, better without the approach frequencies in there for sure. I think it would be fine with the ZDC UHF frequencies.

Okay thanks - will take if off line soon to make more adjustments. I am going to remove the SATCOM as well since I am picking up a pirate on one channel and since secure is used not much detail to be gathered.

So if you are monitoring - I will take it down at 17:30 EST / 22:30 UTC

306th Fighter Squadron activated at 177th Fighter Wing

I wonder how large the base will get and if the number of aircraft will grow.

They are not gonna grow that much if at all... Andrews 113Wg F-16's has same deal though new squadron number escapes me.
This is in response to how much the USAF depends on Reserve ANG pilots and crews these days.
Its like across the Country Volunteer Fire companies are adding paid medic and fire personnel to keep going.
This way the local ANG Reserve Wings have some paid full time enlisted folks to keep the fire's burning and wheels turning :)

OKay my PA site feed is back after changes have been made.

Currently (19:54 EST) I am locked on Huntress 228.900 as the USCG helos from Atlantic City are doing intercept practice down here around Sea Isle VOR. You will hear Huntress with calls but the helos are low altitude and only make the antenna in PA once in awhile.

Just looking over my logs for the VP visit today and noticed an interesting hit that I wanted to ask you all about. AF2 99-0003 departed at about 1543, within about 15-20 minutes prior to departure I had three hits on 361.600, these were at 1523, 1526 and 1535 and sounded like short data bursts. Obviously the VP doesn't have CAP and M2 wasn't used, the times correspond with motorcade arrival at airport.

I have this freq listed as AF1/HMX-1 but have never heard it before. Any thoughts?

Although you would think they would use the VHF freqs to contact the aircraft with updates. Anything is possible. If it is not already in my feed I will add it. Sometimes you never know where they will show up. It may just not be used for POTUS anymore so it use gets shifted to other missions. I always go with the old Candid Camera saying....... "Don't be surprised if sometime, somewhere, someplace, when you least expect it, someone steps up to you and says - hey today we are using 361.600"!!
