Decent looking patch, wonder if all CAP deployments get one.
I know flying Mil choppers at night in close proximity is a dangerous job but with training and technology today
this shouldn't happen like this.. Its happened to US Blackhawks and others as well.
You would think today with fly by wire and computers/sensors they could make it almost impossible to collide but
seems to keep happening

Currently (11am EDT) seeing on ADS-B three P-8s between Harrisburg and just south of DC. I don't recall seeing that many in one relatively small area...
I haven't been able to pay close attention this morning - have one of the C-32s been flown into KILG to pick up the president for that late morning departure?

1425- PAT 05 working Pentagon tower (231.3) for landing. I've had this freq in my scanner for close to 20 years and this is first time I've heard an acft use it.

Ron thats long time.I get the same with Aberdeen Weide Ops and Phillips tower UHF 229.1 and 241.000. Rarely used.

241.0 been in my scanners even longer than the Pentagon. I've never heard that freq used in my listening area.

1500- Arris 46 (KC-46 Seymour-Johnson) has been working all afternoon with Score 79 (C-38 VX-20). Using test discrete (292.1)
I hear both 143.100/231.300 - Pentagon Tower traffic is very brief and can be infrequent.
The one frequency I haven't heard at all from the list is "293.500 FOGHORN (Pentagon) tertiary"
I'm in the DC Metro area.
