Nine 335th FS F-15s arrived this afternoon at RAF Lakenheath from Muwaffaq Salti
airbase in Jordan [OJMS] with a short fuel-stop at Aviano airbase in Italy [LIPA].

TABOR 31-35 were air-to-air on <346.700> and TABOR 41-44 on <315.900>.
They called Black Panther Chief ops on 282.675 with their maintenance codes.
One aircraft stayed behind at Aviano, two more are still in Jordan.

Over France the second cell was intercepted by the French QRA MAGMA 01 on 307.325.

They (335th (E)FS "Chiefs") returned with breath taking nose arts and bombing mission silhouettes applied on their F-15E Strike Eagles, while they were deployed. North Carolina has some great artists!

And I also think that the last (which was one of the first two B-52's to fly to AUAB almost 2 weeks ago) is the B-52H Stratofortress reg. 60-0037 "Wham Bam II" 69th Bomb Squadron, 5th Bomb Wing, Minot AFB, ND. It was confirmed by DVIDS that the 69th Bomb Squadron is currently deployed/assigned to the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing.

It also looks like B-52 combat operations from AUAB kicked off today in support of CJTF- Operation Inherent Resolve and other national objectives (which are not further specified).

Bunch of BLUE tankers up in UK assume westbound two different directions for now.
BLUE-11,12 two K-46's at FL 19k headed towards Ireland now climbing back up off Irish Coast.
BLUE-13,14 two KC-135's at FL 28k headed North towards Scotland now westbound.

Not related but a Swiss F/18 Hornet SUI-408 from Switzerland to RAF Leeming in Northern England.
BLUE-11.12 inbound flying high over Moncton so assume empty and rtb Pease.
BLUE-15 #16-46013 from Pease went up and collected somebody. Must be thirsty birds for all those tankers.
Maybe some SJ F-15's on rtb? should show on ZBW Cape sector soon.

Anybody catch who was with the BLUE 11,12,15 Tankers this afternoon plus two topoff KC-135's BLUE 13,14 overseas?
Lot of tankers for one flight of aircraft.
They didn't talk much and no count offs on Ctr switch. Heard like Units switch from ZDC Sea Isle 281.450
to ZDC 236.825 but no id or chatter heard.. Sometimes Beaufort Marine F/18's are quiet like that or F-35B's.

Hi Mark,

They dragged TABOR 41-46 from RAF Lakenheath back to Seymour-Johnson AFB,
a flight of six 335th Fighter Squadron F-15s returning from Jordan.

The New York controller advised a Southwest airliner of a flight of six F-15s
passing underneath him, the airliner asked if that were the Blue Angels .... :giggle:
