Anyone can confirm what type of Digital Middle Twp Police in Cape May County have on a old post dating back to 2005 its stating Aegis but if you look in the database in this site its listed as Provoice. Aegis was a older type of digital were I understand the voice quality is poor and Provice is the better version. Thanks

About 2 months ago I was getting Middle PD in Digital mode on the same freq. using 796d. It was not clear and they were broken up in Green Creek and Rio Grande. Now they are just using FM on 151.385. I live in Lower and still dont get them loud and clear.

I meant when they units where in Green Creek and Rio Grande the dispatcher couldnt hear them very clear. Now that they are only on regular FM the Court House doesnt have a problem hearing them. I think they are trying to work the bugs out and deaf spots before going back to digital.

Wildbillx is correct. I believe they basically just made their old freq Provoice capable without proper consideration of the fringe areas and deep fading. Digital dosen't deal with this problem very well.

You can be sure by summer they will have spent some Homeland Security money to fix it. Enjoy the analog until then.

PS. Living in Wilmington DE I cannot easily hear CM Co. all of the time (Actually, I only monitor it during the summer months) so if someone notices any changes let me know.

middle twsp

Does anybody know why Middle Twsp is back on FM 151.385 ?
They were on 154.875 for quite awhile.
It seems they are switching around alot.
