Thanks - got those already, I may be looking for what I already know(LOL). I might do better to expand me knowledge of call signs...whew! Another C-17 blows over a low altitude! That always worries the snot outa me cats too. I have alot of flying gas tanks(KC 10/135's), C-17, AWACS/JSTAR, F-15/16's, Sea Stallions, Apaches, Blackhawks and even MIG 29's/Hinds 24's wandering about overhead and always wondered where the Helo's talk as I have not ID'd any of them by call sign yet.

Well, in addition to restating your question on the North Carolina forum, I'd jump over to the NC Scan Yahoo group, as well as the well known Milcom group on qth.net Between the 2 of them, I'd bet you'd have your hands full. Isn't Seymour Johnson in your neck of the woods? I could've sworn I saw a thread about that in the NC forum....73s Mike

On an incident in Suffolk, VA last night, Coast Guard and Police Helicopters communicated on 123.45. See the Dismal Swamp thread in the Virginia Forum.

I didn't think of this before, but I would also check the ARTCC frequencies for your sector. It's hard to get the UHF equivalents these days, so you may need to dig a little to find them....73s Mike
