Missing transmissions

I seem to be missing half of the radio transmissions on my ws1080. Im monitoring a p25 system for my city. I deal with simulcast distortion. But even when im getting a clear signal i have been missing alot of the calls. I have experimented with the settings and moved my antenna around but when i have on the rr live feed i know im missing calls. Im stumped. Any help would be great.

Have you tried attenuating the signal or maybe using a paperclip as an antenna to weaken the signal?

Thanks for your replie. I have tried attenuating no luck with that. I will give the paper clip method a try later this evening.

The paper clip method seems to be working pretty good. Im hearing full conversations. Im also experimenting with differant antennas including a small t.v. antenna.
