Hey all, been doing a lot of listening the last few days in the river valley area to the BIA CRIT frequency of 172.425 and hearing traffic from units at Katherines landing in Bullhead City area. It's P25 with a NAC of 3E8 and have been hearing 100 and 700 units. I know the 700 units are from Lake Mean NRA. I was curious if anyone else has done any listening on this channel or if anyone knows if this is another frequency in the Lake Mead selection of frequencies?

It is used by the NPS at Lake Mead as an LE channel.

I know down in La Paz county CRIT is on AZWINS, I was thinking that maybe that is where FMIT PD dispatches, been trying to find their channel for a while now.

Colorado River Indian Tribes, it includes all the tribes of the western counties of AZ including Fort Mohave Indian Tribe (FMIT.) The only reason I wrote it initially the way I did is because that's how it appears on the AZ state listing on RR. I've been trying to deduce if FMIT is using any of the listed/ licensed frequencies or trunked systems as appears on this site. I was thinking that they might be on the CRIT frequency but so far all I've heard is the NPS out of Katherine Landing area on it. The cars and radios appear to be UHF but all of their licensed frequencies are VHF that have zero activity on them.

Thanks, I appreciate the information. If I went to the database I would have been equally confused. I've been telling database editors for years that we need to eliminate abbreviations that have no explanation and are uncommon.
