Monitoring Detroit Fire Department on 396T
For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to set up Freescan to program my Uniden 396T to listen to the DFD. At one time, I was a wiz at this, but I took a couple years off and lo & behold, the software I was familiar with is obsolete. I'm trying to feel my way through it, but I'm clueless. Any help would be appreciated.
Being that I'm in Southfield, should I be using the Southfield System Frequencies as well, possibly to get better reception of the Detroit Fire Talkgroups?
What exactly is the system type? I understand that the MPSCS is a Project 25 Phase I (FDMA) system, but what setting does that coincide with on Freescan?
I'm in over my head. Again, any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
