Mike,

BTW....the 155.07 (Marydel) rebroadcast of Kent DE Fire Disp is by far the most powerful (in wattage - 100w total) of the Kent towers and the western-most in position....the ideal freq for most of your CHM compadres who might wish to hear Kent from Balt-DC.

Hey Folks,

I want to let you all know the next time I travel thru Delaware I will keep these frequencies in my scanner and try to verify them.

Now it may be a while b4 I get to go to delaware again but I will contact Mike so he can update.

Mike,

Seaford is in Sussex Co, Milford is in Kent Co. Some of the frequencies are used by multiple Fire Companies. I travel to Kent Co sometimes and can monitor Kent Co SmartZone Site 2 from my home. Next time I am over the inlaws house I wil check the other frequencies.

I find you hear more fireground action from monitoring the conventional frequencies than listening to the TG's on the Trunked System.

Thanx to everyone who responded - clearly, my knowledge of the geography in Delaware is spotty at best. Nice to know we've got a few knowledgable people here.

Doctordave - no, I'm concentrating on just the Fireground frequencies. I won't have police on there; however, if more than 2 freqs show up, perhaps a police page could be coded. But not right now.

H8digitalradio - thanks for the clarification on the counties.

Back to getting this page squared away....73s Mike

Anyone - PL or DCS info on these freqs? That seems to be where my biggest hole for the new page now resides.

Our database on this website lists 151.16 & 154.98 as being Kent County FD freqs, as well. Anyone know if these are valid and if so, what they are used for?

Seaford FD has a DCS tone of 516. It is not a real strong transmitter but can be monitored from about a 15-20 mile radius. The repeater is setup at station 87 in Seaford. As mentioned earlier in another posting Seaford Center shares 453.700 as the dispatch channel with Sussex County.
Blades 154.400 is CSQ This is by far the strongest repeater transmitter in Sussex. I'm not sure of the wattage but you can hear this channel about 40 miles or more from the dispatch site. I heard a rumor one time that the repeater in Blades was originally setup for FDNY in case they had to respond to an emergency in this area and setup communications.
I believe most of the other 453 transmitters are just CSQ. Their range is only intended to cover the station area it is assigned to. I am just guessing about this but by PRO 96 has not showed any positive CTCSS tones for these transmitters.

Hello,

Very Nice Work Mike! I believe there is one correction to make. 453.0250 is the correct frequency and is affiliated with Middletown Volunteer Hose Co. It is listed as Station 29. It should be Station 27. More updates to follow, and thanks to Mr. Henney for the webpage.

OK Dave, I've saved that fix away. I want to wait a week or so to allow other folks to point out fixes and such - and hopefully add more PL/DCS detail, as you can see there's a number of holes. But it will be fixed, promise...73s Mike

fireboards have been updated

Ok folks all the changes I got so far have been installed and uploaded on the Fireboard page at the URL I sent earlier.

I was going to send this URL to the update team to fix the data on this board; while Kent and New Castle seem to be OK, there's some differences on Sussex County (for example, Blades is listed on a 450 freq here, while the Fireboards page has it on a VHF hi freq). Before I can send it to the team, these differences have to be fixed. Do we have anyone in that area that can scan and verify between the 2 lists?

73s and thanx...Mike

Hello everyone,
I'll be happy to update the Sussex and Kent sections on here if you submit the data.
However I will be out of town Fri-Mon so it may take until next week unless one of the glodal admins takes care of it.
