Amazing. A friend of my family was transported by the MONOC crew. Funny how we didn't hear them transmit that the breathing tube was not in the right spot and was in his belly. Maybe the employees need to spend more time educating than being on here. See you in court.

Please forgive me if this information is out there already, but does anyone know what freq MONOC dispatches their MedEvac on? Also, are they still located in Trenton?

MONOC1 is dispatched on this frequency????????????? I have always heard there communications on the monoc dispatch frequency.

MONOC-1 is dispatched over the main dispatch frequencies:

MED-9 462.950 PL 210.7
MED-10 462.975 PL 210.7
MED-11 461.800 PL 210.7 (Simulcast of MED-9 from Bayshore Hospital)

Nextels are useless in the helicopter above 800 ft, but there is a satellite phone for backup comms.

MONOC 1 is the correct designator for it. I don't now where whoever posted it got Air 1 from, but it's wrong.

Perhaps it was a mix-up with Atlantic Health Systems' ship, Air-1??
