This change will take effect on Sunday October 17th starting at 0500hrs Every Fire House and EMS agency will need to have a full duty crew on duty for the entire day. They are going to test each fire department and EMS Agency at a time on that date.

Oh and just a personal note to Dave NF2G. I provided this list to Radio Reference Not you and your website. It seems that the past few weeks your website and your knowledge of scanning in NY have gone to your head. The way you spoke the other day to the owner of this website was uncalled for and in my personal opinion you should be kicked off Radio Reference. I would hope you wouldn't go against your own word of Copy Write and take my provided information and put it on your website.

Just the past few weeks? You must've missed most of his posts over the past few years.

Points of clarification:

-The conversion/programming starts at 0500, but remains wideband until 1800. At 1800, it will officially convert to narrowband.
- Its' up to each each agency whether to "fully staff" or not. They don't need to if they have a plan in place.
- After 1800, 911 will test and roll call each agency.

Hope that helps

You are not the only source of this info. In fact, I already have it but haven't updated the website yet.

As for the rest - waaaaaaaaah. And see my new thread here...
