Does anyone know what Rockaway Borough Fire and Mine Hill Fire are using for talkgroups? Rockaway Borough just switched over to MIRS and I believe Mine Hill and Wharton are using MIRS after they are dispatched on 46.42.. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This is what I have if anyone can confirm...

Boonton Fire dispatched on 46.420 PL 186.2 by County.
Rockaway Boro and Mine Hill dispatched on 46.420 PL 131.8 by County.

All three using TG 34416 to call in service with county.

Boonton Twp. FD is dispatched by Cty. and Boonton Town of is self dispatched on 46.42.

Boonton Twp. was dispatched by Mt. Lakes, before Cty. took over.

PL 173.8 is correct for County.

EJM's post is a little confusing when he says County PL is 173.8

Boonton FD, Boonton Twp FD, and Mountain Lakes FD all get paged out on 46.42 with PL of 186.2. Boonton does it's own dispatching while Boonton Twp and Mountain Lakes are dispatched by the county.

You got me on this, Rocket. I did post the wrong PL, it is 131.8. I was thinking of County's
other PL of 173.8, which is used / was used on the PD frequencies. Sorry for the mistake.

It sometimes gets confusing with all the info being posted and trying to keep up w/ it all.

OK, just to clarify for everyone...

Boonton Twp Fire AND Mountain Lakes Fire are dispatched on 46.420 PL 186.2 by County.
Town of Boonton FD is dispatched on the same frequncy as above, but by the Town of Boonton PD.
Rockaway Boro and Mine Hill FD's are dispatched on 46.420 PL 131.8 by County.

Boonton Twp, Mountain Lakes, Rockaway Boro and Mine Hill all use TG 34416 to call in service with county. Town of Boonton is still on lowband.

Any word on migrating all county dispatched FD's to the same frequency AND PL ?

I see dpartments that are dispatched by the county that used high-band nstead of lowband (Harding) are switching to the old MCREDS repeater.
