I drove to the top of Mount Equinox in Bennington County on Tuesday, August 14. I spent a good couple of hours there with scanners and a laptop. I could hear traffic from at least 4 states and Quebec Province. Here is a list of my catches. (Many of my unknowns are probably well known to area scanner listeners.)

VHF Low
33.16/110.9 leaking pipe, truck in Springfield [MA or NH?]
33.44/179.9
33.56/131.8 fire
33.72/131.8 fire (related to 33.56?)
33.80/179.9 dispatched Vernon Ambulance
37.22/141.3 self-ID as "Rutland Police" [VT]
43.06/192.8 traffic in French [QB]
43.18/192.8 loads of unknown substance, orders in "yards"
44.12/114.8
45.18/167.9
45.36/162.2
46.10/210.7 WNLC-502 [East Greenbush Fire Control, NY]
46.38/csq testing for Saranac Lake FD [NY]
46.32/csq Essex County, NY
46.46/csq Essex County, NY

The only ones that I know of for sure are these:

46.38 - Franklin County (NY) Fire Control F-1

46.32 - Essex County (NY) Fire Control F-1

46.46 - Essex County (NY) Fire Control Paging

As for 37.22 / 141.3, I think this may be Rutland, MA Police in Worcester County. I know that Rutland City PD in VT are on UHF, as well as the Rutland County Sheriff's and the VSP. The old Rutland City PD low band frequency was 39.10 but it was abandoned a long time ago. In the FCC database I found KCF-353 Rutland, Town of (Police Department).
