Is something strange happening with MPSCS in Ingham? Or statewide? My scanner is silent today no matter what I set it to. I will experiment more when I am home from work. When I scan through the tower frequencies conventionally there’s still all sorts of stuff. Just wondering if maybe channel ID table changed or something?
I have had no problems receiving from the River Central site today.
Never mind- I asked my dad and a couple friends who all have scanners I programmed the exact same. They’re working.
I see the Barry County Simulcast site is on-line. Any NAC update from anyone within range?
A friend of mine who's in the area was able to confirm NAC 791 is in use , @Thunderbolt if you'd like to update the Database.

So I just got my SDS200 today and am starting to try and figure things out on the MPSCS system, I am in South Kalamazoo County and picking up St Joseph count and the system shows "Waters" or other sites. When i look those sites are far away.
I also think there is another site in Portage that doesn't appear to be listed.

If you loaded the whole MPSCS system, the Waters site and Kalamazoo County simulcast use some of the same freqs, so depending on which one your SDS stopped on is the name shown in the scanner display. I was going to say “What about Plainwell?” but then I measured it. It’s 131 feet north of the Kalamazoo County line. Carry on!
That would probably be Grand Traverse (county 28) although I have found some radio IDs that do not follow the standard scheme around here in the capital area- some MMR ambulances and MSP radios

92842xx belong to District 7 Auxcomm. I have 24, 26, 30, 32, and 34 marked in ProScan.
I should also add that I have 9284208 saved as a Cherry Capital Airport ARFF unit.
Still working on it. Currently Ingham county only because that’s where I live. A lot more work to go even for this county, since I am only usually doing scanning a couple hours a day at most. Most of it is “1033” radios.
@Brettame5 @nvanw27 GT County-owned radios range from about the 3000 block to the low 4100 block. There was an original method to organization within that range for fire vs law, etc, but that's gone out the window as radios get reassigned to various agencies.
