Cell.. like part of a simulcast cell? or is it just a new site? The Frankfort, MI cell appears to have received FCC licensing. FCC Callsign WSHH919 (MICHIGAN, STATE OF)
Have not been out to see the new site yet.
been wondering. Yes its way upnorth where no body cares. But thank YouCell.. like part of a simulcast cell? or is it just a new site?
It appears to be a stand alone site from the licensing.Cell.. like part of a simulcast cell? or is it just a new site?
I'm sorry, my brain was not braining that early in the morning. It is a standalone site, not a cell. My bad!Cell.. like part of a simulcast cell? or is it just a new site?

Apologies for going OT, but a rhetorical question:Many schools in Michigan have P25 radios in the office with an extra big emergency button that is monitored by local dispatch (). Today a local school accidentally pressed their button, and quickly released a statement on social media explaining the accidental trigger. So being the log hoarder I am, I tried to find the activation and I did. It turns out pretty much every school radio was on one encrypted TGID (shocker, right?) but it was kinda odd... There was little to no voice traffic, like ~20 calls over many months, but each radio "joins" the Talkgroup continuously all day. Doesnt "login" or "logout", it just keeps joining? is it like a ping effect to make sure the ship hasnt sunk or something?
Note: Im unsure if this is a sensitive topic... know RRDB approves of encrypted talkgroup submissions since you obviously cant monitor, but I just want to make sure before I add Unitrunker Screenshots... I only have TGIDs and RIDs, no identification or anything special...
