So, I guess for the non technical listener like me, it will take some time to get all the new sites and
TG's figured out to plug them in and monitor. Just amazed at all the work you guys do. Pretty cool!

Question
I am using a Uniden BCD325P2 and have the Wilmot site entered along with the voice channel but anytime there is talking I don't have a talkgroup popping up. I hear the voice channel and the Control channel is loud and clear and the LCNs are imported from RRDB.

Any ideas?

The LCN's are likely incorrect. I've put in what I see here in the forums. Until someone can submit some solid data, adjust the numbers up or down in your programming and see if it trunks properly. let me know when you hit the right ones.

Ok, I'll give that a try... just have to wait for a call...

So, CWFR got a call and I was playing around with the LCN numbers but no luck. It is working on SDR-Trunk and DSD+ Fast Lane. Is the 992P2/325P2 strict on the exact LCN?

Tried that with Rockwood but the CC did not tune to the voice frequency if I tuned to it manually I saw the talkgroup ID and them talking.

For mciupa:
Guelph / Eramosa Fire Tac 1 TG: 14001

Made some adjustments to the database using your list. Would you calculate 420.9875 for me please, that's one of the last pieces of the puzzle.

Wellington North Fire Services Tac 1 - TG: 19001
Mt. Forest call

Still can't figure out how to get this system to work on my 996P2/325P2.
The LCNs work on both DSD+ FL and SDR-Trunk both of them have been successful in switching to the voice channel for talkgroups that are active.
Wilmot Site 3
420.1125 - LCN 497 (CC)
420.750 - LCN 539 (Voice)

Based on pro92b post #35, I made this quick LSN and LCN frequency converter app.

To use it just enter in the frequency IE 422.11250 and it will calculate the LSN and LCN for that frequency.

NOTE: one of the frequencies discovered is outside the normal bandplan for the 420 frequency range. The app will calculate the LSN and LCN for such frequencies and will turn the background orange to indicate its outside the normal band plan.

NOTE: the app is configured only for the TIII system being discovered. It may or may not be accurate for other TIII systems.

I wish to thank pro92b for making the original post and providing the data needed to make the app. CYA time. RR is not responsible for any issues from running the app. Neither am I. Use it at your own risk there are no guarantees etc. Any questions or suggestions please DM me.capture 1.jpgcapture 2.jpg

@CDTbolt10033 regarding the FleetConnect DT3 not trunk tracking. I can offer a suggestion.

In your 996P2/325P2 programming for MotoTRBO Trunk, increase the system Hold Time to 10 sec. I know that seems excessive, but try it and see what your results are.
Uniden's seem a bit on the slow side to "latch on" for DT3. You will hear voice once you have the proper LCN's and Colour Code. This helped me trunk track the Toronto City Services and Air Canada DT3 systems. I have since decreased it down to 5 sec Hold Time.

Thank you for your Fire Department discoveries, you are populating the system nicely. :)
