Kind of curious why DSD+FL shows ? for the CC when in CC mode, but shows 1053 when in Combined mode.

From my frequencies file:
TIII,6,10,1053,420.5875,0,0 ; 1053 + 1054
TIII,6,10,1117,420.9875,0,0 ; 1117 + 1118

Anyone have any insight?

Hearing a day full of activity on TG24001, probably a works department because I heard mention of plough blades, etc. but no locations heard yet to identify where they are. Two or three guys have been chit chatting all day.

Safe bet it's a Roads Dept gearing up for 'snow-mageddon'. I will be searching the band for active TIII frequencies.

It seems more TGs are coming alive. They must be handing out the new radios to the businesses and switching them over. I am seeing TG's 7001, 12001, 21001, 11001, 24001, 9001, 9003. On TG 12001 I did hear a conversation about the new radios and how the old ones do not support the new system.

I am observing that sometimes there is activity on different sites. One of the FDs may be on the Puslinch site, then on the Wilmot site, or a distant site like Arthur or the Fergus site. Has anyone else noticed this?

CDTbolt10033: that may be terrain related. The radios are locking in on the strongest site.

I notice the Fire TG's are assigned ranges for each dept.
13xxx Puslinch
14xxx Guelph/Eramosa
15xxx Senter/Wellington

This may make it a lot easier to identify a user even if there is not a lot of activity to identify the actual channel name.

I went through Stratford yesterday and the FleetConnect site is CON + system 158 site 8 with 420.1750 (cc) 420.2750 voice and 420.3750 voice. TAFL has the 420.3750 listed as TIII but currently no CC on it and its in the CON+ voice channel rotation.

Which talkgroup are they using?
Cambridge came as RID: 132011 on the TIII system and on Waterloo Region P25 they were using the TG: 1901 PFR patch talkgroup patched to WR Fire Tac 3 doing tests with Cambridge fire.

It also seems Cambridge Fire can't hear PFR from their system but Puslinch Fire can hear Cambridge Fire calling and are trying to talk back.

Here is the audio they used one of the WR Fire Training talkgroups and then tried WR Fire Tac 3.
Keep in mind I took individual audio recordings and put them in Audacity to make one audio file.

Car-323 / Platoon Chief is trying to communicate with Puslinch Fire but is not receiving PFR's audio back.

I've noticed a change in site numbers and I've also provided the neighboring sites:
(Some info may or may not be correct, this is due to signal strength)
Wilmot is now Site 2 - 420.750 - NL: 1, 3, 4, 12, 13
Fergus is now Site 3 - 420.225 - NL: 2, 4, 9, 10
Puslinch Site 9 - NL: 3, 10, 12
Cambridge Site 12 - NL: 2, 9, 13
