I can try... If you're a cop, and you know the jargon, what's the title of the person I would ask for to get pics? I'd hate to just start taking random pics, and get harassed about it.

What does that matter? You are a taxpayer, your tax dollars pay for that car, or if your not from that county, then there are taxpayers that pay for it. I dont care if anyone has a issue with me taking pictures...but it would be proper to ask, most dont have a problem with it!

The only place I had a problem taking a pic was Oakland County Community College. The officer jumped down my throat when I asked to take a pic. I was told that if I snatched the pic I would be arrested and he would smash my camera.

I'm like ok I wont take it then. I complied and didn't push it but I knew there wasn't a statue to cover his arrest.

There are times when you just bite the bullet wand walk away....

I got the pics of their cars from their Chief from a formal request. My boss wanted pics because we were looking at what every college uses in order to decal our new vehicles. He sent them and said anytime I need pics to come down and take them with his ok and that if anyone had problems with it to let him know. INTERESTING.......... I didn't mention a thing about the officer cause thats a boat I'm not rocking.

Your better than I am, had that been me and that officer gave me that kind of attitude over a simple picture, then I would have taken it right to the top. I would have started with the sgt on duty and then went to the Lt and to the chief if I would have to.....I just hate the attitudes that some of these guys have lately. I realize that they have to put up with a lot, but they are public servants.....their attitude really needs to reflect that!

I know all that... It's just my experience here in Lenawee county, a lot of the cops are pretty arrogant, like they're better than me, because I'm a "subject", and they're not. If you try to harass them back for harassing you, then you're crossing the line, and they can get all legal on your ass.
Don't get me wrong, I've run into a few of them that are real people, but I believe there's more that aren't. I've never been in any kind of trouble, just trying to talk to them like people, and they get all uppity on you.
I just want to avoid "situations".

I don't know anyone in Lenawee county that I can think of or I would try to make it go smoother.

One shot of the new grey (it's really more like a metallic silver) MSP car at the Traverse City post. I'll grab a few more when the weather is more cooperative. 7116 is the plate # for those in the area listening.

I saw one of these in the parking lot of the Niles Super America Gas/Convience Store the other night! They are good looking.

That's fine, I can handle it ok enough. Don't take any offense to my comments if you're one of the good guys.
Like the other guy said, I know you guys are put under a lot of stress...

MSP still uses and will always use as long as its made the Ford Crown Vic.

They also use the Chevy Tahoe and 5 Dodge "Can't keep on road" Chargers

There are some select Jeeps still in use and 1 1996 Chevy Caprice in the U.P.

I've seen an unmarked Tahoe that has a blue paint job just like the other regular Ford Interceptors and Tahoes, with a dome light on top, the mirrors with the LED lights, and LED's on the grille. I've seen it a few times, and the driver had a patch on his arm, so I assume it's an officer at post 57 in Battle Creek.
