One child Helo'd out. Driver of car still being extracted and will also be Helo'd. Seven kids to be transported by ground.
I can tell you there is a lot of confusion at the scene. The Battalion Chief keeps changing his orders for resources and the SO has a completely different look at it. He has ordered and cancelled at least three ALS units and a couple of helos. Seems to be a breakdown of communications at the scene somehow. Then, again, it might be so much going on all at once.
Extrication finally completed! Wow, that car must be crunched badly!

(KSL News) Nine people, including seven children, have been taken to local hospitals after they were involved in a serious car accident this afternoon.
An SUV and tractor-trailer collided near 7200 West and 3500 South. The SUV was carrying two adults and seven children. Both adults were flown to area hospitals in critical condition. All seven children were taken to area hospitals via ambulance.
It is unclear at this time who is at fault in the accident. Police officers on scene say they don't believe the children were properly restrained in the vehicle.
