Looks to be something else in a Mac 128/512/Plus case. Keyboard doesn't match it.

I've got the genuine article on my desk at work, just sits there day after day with flying toasters running on it.

Not sure if he did this or not but there are plans out there to use a MacPlus shell and replace the display with an LCD, allowing the use of a Mac Mini, R-Pi or other SFF computer.

I wonder if an iPad Mini could be used?
