I have in my possession a pair of U-shaped rods. I was told it is from some type of antenna. I am trying to see if I can make it some sort of antenna. Any tips from Antenna Gurus would be appreciated.

Dimensions are as follows:
Length of arm = 24"
Gap between arms = 2"

Thanks in advance.

It seems to be cut for 120MHz

You can cut the lenghts to give a higher frequency and make a dipole.
Hammer the ends flat and drill new holes and fasten to whatever isolated material you have and connect the coax.

Your antenna pieces would look something like this when properly connected up....

In this case, it's the driven element of a Yagi antenna.
