Been a while since I checked in.......... Matter of fact 2008, LOL.

Still in Salisbury (Rowan County). On a daily basis I monitor the Rowan/Salisbury P25 system, VIPER, Cabarrus/Concord P25 (Part of the Charlotte Regional system), and various surrounding counties on VHF.

Daily drivers are my Motorola XTS5000 (Rowan/Salisbury P25), BCD396XT (Various), EFJ 5100 VHF w/FPP, and Kenwood TK390.

Hello everyone. New member from Weddington NC here. It’s been a while since I’ve done any scanner listening. My wife got me a PRO-688 for my birthday last week, and I’ve been trying to figure it out ever since… (trunking, talkgroups, etc. are new to me). My last scanner was/is a PRO-26, so that should tell you how long it’s been. I’ve been able to learn a lot so far from the RR forums, but I’m sure I’ll have some questions every now and then.

I’m mainly interested in listening to all LE, Fire, EMS, in Union and Mecklenburg County and getting those frequencies in an organized fashion on my shiny new scanner.
