SDR# Need help Setting up A sdr# fast scanner

I have a SDR Play RSPdx receiver setup and running With SDRuno software on my Dell XPS computer.
I also have an old Dongle DVB-T-DAB+FM

I would like to setup my old ThinkCentre computer with SDR# software and run the Fast Scanner plugin on the Military Air Band between 225 and 380 MHz

What would be the best way to set it up, and what software do in need to download, also does the fast scanner plugin come already installed in SDR# software. I don't know if I should buy a better dongle or not .Any information on the easiest way to set this up would be apricated.

Pretty sure SDR Sharp support for the SDRPlay line stopped after v 1.0.0.1361. Think there might be a way to do it in SDR++

OK thanks for the information I will download everything and give it a try with SDRplay RSPdx

Also SDR++ has a limit search if all else fails with sharp

OK great I will try 1732 and the EXTIO first. I take it the new sdrsharp software will not work ??

FTR I was able to get my RSPDuo running on SDR# v1732. Shame it won't run on v1915, ah well

You got to navigate to the extio file and select it

I Have SDRsharp.USRP.DLL in a directory and when I go to it it does not show up, is this the right .dll

No, you need to download the EXTIO plugin from Downloads then install it into your SDR# root folder. You then select the ExtIO_SDRplay_ file when you encounter the prompt in post #11

Can't thank everyone enough for all the help and patients with helping me setup SDR# 1732 software. I now have it setup to run with my dongle and with SDRPlay RSPdx. need to spend time with it to learn how to setup everything but it's working great.

I have tried to find the fast scanner download that I can use with sdr# 1732 but have not found it, if it's not to much trouble could someone tell me how to get the fast scanner into sdr# 1732 and get it up and running.

OK I have the fast scanner installed and after setup I can scan the Military Air Band from 225-380 MHz in 8.943 seconds with my old dongle

I have SDR# 1732 setup running the fast scanner. I am using a DVB=T+DAB+FM dongle and it seem to be working ok. I need to fine tune a little more but it is scanning from 118 to 136 MHz AM Aircraft band in a little over 1 second.
