It opened this time. I always add the Atlanta/Fulton county CC's. Let's see if he can get mine up and running.

Yes, and I even check to make sure it programmed properly. Every setting is the same as far as I can see on the TSYS menu as in the code plug...

Well, I'm lost for words, for the first time here, I'm taking the 10 count.

I really hope a local jumps in here and helps us all!

Sorry I was no help! :(

Thank you for the help. I'm stumped as well. I've programmed everything from ham radios to Motorola stuff. And heck, if I can understand a Motorola radio, certainly this shouldn't stump me. And I've tried changing my location to make sure I'm not just in an RF black hole.

I was able to open it, but couldn't get it to work.

Do a complete initialization of the scanner. Wipe it clean. Upload my file to the radio. If it still doesn't work, there might be something wrong with the scanner. You did unzip it? Post my file back here on RR.

Larry,

Yes, I started it, and hit 0, then 1 to initialize, and it said it wiped it all. Sure enough, there was nothing in there, then I uploaded your file. Still nothing.

Here is the file from you. And yes, I unzipped it, and watched it upload. In fact, here is a picture of it now:

I just looked up some of the call signs of the sites listed in the database using the FCC lookup, and the emission code says, 16K0F3E what is that?

Just for fun, have you tried entering the 1 "missing" control channel frequency? 857.762500MHz.

("Missing" in that it's the only one listed on the RR DB page for the system, but isn't in the "Cobb0112112.p500" file in post #35 above. I realize it's listed for a site in a different county.)
