I bought mine last Tuesday, came home and pulled it out of the box and turned it on and started playing with it. Phone rang and my wife answered it and the scanner picked up the phone and I heard both sides of the conversation so I hit the lockout. Stumbled across it by accident.

Give me the technology, state the disclaimers, and I'll decide what I want to do regarding capturing something from the airwaves, be it cordless phone or sat TV transmissions.

Hi There, can someone tell me if a "scanner" can pick up cordless phone conversations ??
A neighbor told me someone in town has a "scanner" & can listen in to all phone calls except "land lines"..I don't think so, I know cell phones maybe, but cordless ??
Appreciate an answer, thanks in advance.. NtK..
easy to listen to cordless phones.
nearly impossible to listen to cell phones (unless one makes an illigal modification to their scanner).
