Need PSRN programming help

Mike: how do I type this into a 436 & a SDS model?

I have 2 softwares I can use.

I've attached to pictures:

ARC software
and the newest SENTINEL

In the Sentinel software it gives me options to enter in the Base and Spacing. If the picture isn't clear enough when I type in the base 136.00500 and Spacing 0.0075 a pop up tells me frequency is out of range.

That is precisely why I keep Sentinel blank. I encountered the same problem as you with the "out of range". I think I know why though. The default Band Coverage is 137.0000 to 143.9875 NFM. So for a measly .0995 MHz we can't enter it in Sentinel. I don't think Uniden would care about our problems here in Ontario to change their software or hardware.

Not familiar with ARC software, someone else could jump in.

The normal settings for TDMA X2 automatically grab and use the base freq info from the CC.

Finally!!!!!!

The mods should let us swear because after months and months putting in the band plan worked!!!!

The Hamilton CACC talkgroups are popping up like they should with no audio for sure.

The 436 does a better job at this, holds the encrypted talkgroup better.

No audio on the MTO stuff however, but it's a step in the right direction.

Ok!
Made some progress. The 436 and SDS show the activity but I'm not getting any audio for MTO.

On to the 325.

I can see but not hear activity when it's P25 Standard on it. Should I set it as a P25 ONE FREQUENCY TRUNK or P25 STANDARD

I'm using ARC PRO XT software for this scanner. I can set the base to 136.00500 but it doesn't not have 7.5 for Spacing. .

I can manually set the base to 136.00500 and Spacing to 7.5 but I can't set the Spacing to 7.5 with ARC software, it doesn't appear as an option with ARC

Check out the pictures, maybe someone sees something I'm missing or doing in correctly?

A couple of suggestions, Eric. Try 15.0 (7.5 x2) and P25 Standard. See if those things help

A little more progress. The 325 is showing activity as it scans. I guess I have to wait for the MTO to transmit but talkgroups appear and RID's flash.

I'm sure that the MTO will be busy this afternoon with the inevitable car crashes and gridlock

The Custom plan is working for me at 136.005 Lower Base & Upper, Step is 5.0 and I left Offset blank.

I successfully monitor the King City tower with a 325. The settings I use are P25 Standard, Apco Mode =Auto, Hold time=0, P25 Wait time=0, the Apco band plan section is all zeroes. I am able to track and hear the MTO talkgroups. Maybe this will help. Dave.

It's definitely not P25 OFT, you want P25 Standard.

If you use One Frequency Trunk, it will only work with the control channel. The talkgroups will pop up and you won't hear a thing. You need voice channels. Re do your programming as P25 Standard and include all frequencies,

Tried your suggestions. Won't work at all unless I hold on the control channel and no audio.

Gonna make separate posts: for the 325 and another post for the sds & 436

This post is for the 325

When I put the scanner to P25 Standard it will not hear or see any activity on PSRN. When I hold on the control channel on PSRN with P25 Standard the talk groups will pop up but no sound

When I change PSRN on the 325 to P25 one frequency Trunk and press scan the active talkgroups will pop up but no audio.

Attaching 2 photos to show what I am trying to say

The custom band plan that shows activity but no volume is:

Lower base 136.005
Upper is the same 136.005
Step is 5.0 and I don't what to put for offset so I leave it blank.

Now for the 436 & 536.

Set to P25 Trunk on Sentinel , it's called P25 Standard on ARC.

The scanner will see the activity both encryption and the MTO in the clear activity but there is no audio.

I'm at a loss, the service types are good, but no sound
I'll attach the pictures and list the parameters.

Modulation-Auto
Mot/p25 band plan-custom /rebanded- I set ithe base to 136.00500 and I've tried Spacing at 5.0 7.5, 15 0. It doesn't matter if I leave it blank. Press scan, set at ID SEARCH, activity but no audio.

The rest of the parameters;
P25 Waiting: 200
P25 THRESH.MODE-auto
P25 THRESH.LEVEL-8
FILTER -Global.

Are any of the parameters, like the 4 above cool? Would it make a difference?

Wish I had a car to drive out to anyone, see a scanner working on this.
