Need to organize my install

So driving home today i realized just how bad my truck is. Wires everywhere, plugs that i need to move around depending on what i want to work at that point in time. Coax everywhere. So i need to get it all installed right. Im gonna list off what all it is.

Radio gear: Icom ic521(public service vhf); icom 880h (ham radio); radioshack htx 110? (10 meter); cobra cb radio.

Antennas: vhf mounted to roof for 521, dual bander on mag mount (gets moved if taking the wifes car on a long trip); mag mount 10 meter; cb antenna mounted to tool box.

Now the toys: rotator light bar on the roof, 2 TIR3 in the grill, 4 on the tool box; whelen traffic advisor on the toolbox, a power converter in the cab, 2 "fog" lights on the rear bumper

Im wanting to replace my middle "seat" with a console that im gonna build. The console will have the radios and the switches to turn everything on or off. Im thinking all i need is a amp kit (2 guage) to run from the battery to a fuse block in the console. Then wire everything off the fuses that run off that fuse block. Its gonna be a lot of wiring, im just wanting ya'll to check my work. Does this make sense? or is there something im missing? Also can anyone recommend a fuse block? any input is appreciated. Thanks.

if you do 2 gauge to a fuse block you should be alright running mult units. I run 4 grill lights 90watt whelen strobe kit dash light 3w per led and a rear traffic advisor oh and a whelen cencom and a kenwood uhf radio all from 2awg to a fuse block. Whelen, Federal Signal, Able 2, Sho Me, 911ep, Axixtech - Strobes N' More sells a basic fuse block which is all you need its about $17 I really don't think being inside you will need a fancier fuse block-JOEYD

Either of these units is a good start. Del City has them priced far less expensively than most retailers.

But 2 fog lights on the rear bumper?:roll: I thought the fog was supposed to be in front of you?

Rig Runner

If you are going to be powering that much stuff I would reccommend you buy a rig runner which are rated at 40A total they have always on Anderson Connector outlets which are fused. Easy and clean install. I have one installed in my truck for 3+ radios and other doodads.
