I need help getting proscan client to work.

I had to install a new router due to surge damage. I went from a D-Link to a Cisco Linksys EA6500.
It communicated with radioreference with no problem. My issue is when I attempt to utilize my registered version or Proscan Client to access my scanner I can no longer connect..

I'm hoping a network guru will see this and direct a novice with router how to allow me to connect back to my Proscan (server)

If you now what port Proscan Client used in the past You could always do a port forward on the Linksys Router.

The port that proscan uses is 5001 but I can not get it to work when I do the port forwarding.

Are You sure your software firewall is not blocking it?

Sorry but I killed my connection somehow...Just got it back online...My windows firewall is deactivated.
I did add proscan to my incoming rules....Still no luck.

Thanks. I got it working but once I'm behind company proxie it will not work...As long as I'm just on the web (not in building) I can connect...
