It can't decode NXDN 4800 . In France, many Alps ski stations are in NXDN 4800 trunk . TRX-1 and TRX-2 are decoding so well . ACARS are now replaced by VDL-M2
It appears to be decoding NXDN 4800 (6.25KHz bandwidth) in this video:
Do you perhaps mean NXDN 9600/12.5 KHz bandwidth?

All DJ-X100E units appear to have been supplied with defective firmware, Link Scan will not work and results in a message saying "Unauthorized".

Very poor state of affairs, unit purchased from Moonraker UK, firmware on unit 1.02, MCU 3.90-008, DSP 1.07, AMBE 009.

Does anyone know what the problem is when connecting the DJ-X100 with PCs that use an AMD cpu?

I’ve tried a desktop and laptop with very different AMD Ryzen CPUs but the COM port driver refuses to work on both and shows a warning triangle.

Plugged it into a Surface Pro with an Intel CPU and the driver loaded ok.

Can anyone with an E or T variant confirm if Link Scan just shows an "Unauthorized" warning message when selected?

Yes is a known bug and reported to Alinco

Thanks Gommert, so why are you being so cagey with your emails back to me when replying as Avera VP then?

All users want is some support on this and not to be fobbed off with "you didn't buy it from us"

There are two major issues at the moment:

Link Scan Broken shows a message "Unauthorized"
USB Serial Driver will not load on PCs with AMD CPUs, Japan seem to know about this, is this hardware or firmware?

What is the timescale for a fix to these two defects?

I see some people using one of the expanded modes by entering a code and have access to T61 (TYP1) T61 (TYP2) and T61 (TYP3).

My question after searching both google and this forum is... What is T61.

The only evidence of it' existing was a Japanese You Tuber saying the Taxis over there use it but I can't find anything else to support this.

Thanks :)

T61 = used by Japanese Taxi and JR trains.
NXDN NEXEDGE 4800 is T102/B54.

OK, a little assistance needed please.. Received my X100E yesterday with FW3.90 installed.. I've tried both ver 1.0 and ver 1.01 of the programming software and both come back with an error when trying to read / write saying check X100 firmware? So question is.. Which programming software should I be using?? Radio appears to be working fine otherwise..

I think we (TE version owners) need to wait for Alinco to release programming software. Existing versions appear to be for Japanese market version only. The note on this page mentions availability by end of Feb '25 ALINCO

Has anyone had success with AIS decoding on the T/E model?? I have an ideal coastal location and can pull in lots of AIS traffic with my SDR (161.975MHz). On the DJ-X100 (with a good external antenna) I see the DATA symbol flash up momentarily with each AIS burst followed by "N ---.-" in the bearing/distance display. No targets show up on the map nor messages found in the log. I did RTFM (p77 of the user manual) and tried all sorts of combinations of settings (FIX or GPS location).

Anybody tried the quick and easy programming download (ProgDJX) on the radioreferenceuk site? Some people have reported problems using the alinco software on the eu models so just wondering if this solves at least some of the problems?
